Services Canceled Until Palm Sunday

On Sunday, we decided to cancel church services and Bible study until at least Palm Sunday (April 5, 2020). We will monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and will adjust our services as needed. Please check our website ergracelcms.org for updates, future (and past) online sermons, and additional communications.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

Holy Week 2019

Holy week begins with Palm Sunday. This is the entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem. Here we see Jesus coming In to the city riding on a donkey. The Disciples and followers spread their robes and palm branches celebrating Jesus coming into Jerusalem seeing Him as their coming savior.

The next events are Jesus teaching in the temple during the
week.

On Thursday Jesus sent his Disciples to prepare the passover meal. That night Jesus was arrested and taken to Caiaphas the high priest for trial.

Good Friday Jesus is crucified.

April 14th  at 10 a.m. – Palm Sunday Service

April 18th at 7:00 p.m. – Maundy Thursday Service

April 19th at 7:00 p.m. – Good Friday Service

April 21st at 10:00 a.m. – Easter Sunday Service

2019 Lenten Schedule

The forty days, not counting Sundays, has been a time of meditation and preparation for the celebration of Easter. During this time we are invited to reflect on our sins and our need for a Savior.

The theme of our Lenten services, this year, will be; “The Father of Lies”

Our Lenten services are on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. until Holy Week. The Holy Week schedule will be posted at a later date.
